Step by step, century after century, the Camino de Santiago became the most important pilgrimage route of Christianity during the Middle Ages and today, after more than a thousand years of pilgrimage, is a cultural phenomenon, historical and unique spiritual World born by the firm belief of the discovery of tomb of St. James in Compostela in the ninth century.

The passage of countless pilgrims moved by their faith on their way to Compostela from all over Europe were forming a path strewn with monumental artistic gems in populations that look in their wake. Caption and miracles, forests and plains, and cities art, sport and religion do the Camino de Santiago a singular experience, declared the European Cultural Heritage by the Council of Europe and World Heritage Site by Unesco.

  1. Already walked the Camino Francés a couple of times as well as Via de la Plata & The Camino Portugues. Wonderful experiences each time.
    If you are thinking about it just go for it!!
