Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden will continue to reign according the survey from Expressen in Sweden after Princess Victoria marries. Despite the enormous appreciation for the Princess Victoria, swedish citizens still they want her father as the king of Sweden, who the next April 30 will be 64 years.
No less than 64 percent of respondents want the King Carl Gustav to remain on the throne, compared with 17 percent who desire the transfer of power to the Princess Victoria. The survey shows that 12 percent of Swedes think that the Princess should first raise a family and have children before becoming a Queen.
Princess Victoria will marry the Swedish entrepreneur Daniel Westling on June 19 at the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in Stockholm.
